Details of Shares + Fun Extras

FULL SHARE:
The typical Full Share is appropriate for a family of 2-3 adults for a week of seasonal vegetables and herbs. Depending on the month each Full Share will include about $20-$25 worth of food each week.

HALF SHARE:
The Half Share is appropriate for a single person or those wanting to learn to cook with new vegetable varieties &/or those wanting to cook only a small number of home-cooked meals per week. The half share will often include smaller "personal" sized vegetables perfect for a week's worth of vegetables for someone who is only cooking for themselves or smaller appetite couples.

CSA PLUS Optional Add-On:
We will also be offering a "CSA Plus" optional add-on which can be added to either the Full Share or the Half Share and will include seasonal value-added products such Kyle's Famous Pickles or Hot Sauces, our Fresh Salsas, Sundried Tomatoes, Pasta Sauce Samples, Fresh Cut Flowers, "Small-Batch" or Experimental Heirloom  Varieties and/or other treats we grow or make throughout the season.

10% Full Season Market Discount Cards
Every share member/family also automatically receives 10% Discount Cards good at any of our market tables if more veggies or other items are desired throughout the season.

RECIPES AND MEAL-SUPPORT
Every CSA share will include at least 1-2 printed recipes each week (especially for unique varieties of vegetables) and ongoing support with meal ideas.  We are plant-based cooks so all recipes will be dairy-free, egg-free, animal meat-free, & usually with a gluten free option with easily substituted suggestions and/or alternatives for those who are not vegan or plant-based.

Personalization
Prior to the season's start we will send out a short questionaire to each CSA member/family which will allow us to personalize each box according to allergies, food adventure levels and general preferences. While, as farmers, we are advocates for diverse variety and experimentation, even we have preferences on what we enjoy to grow and eat! Don't like spicy foods? You won't get hot peppers. Your grandma forced you to eat beets and now you have a deep-seated fear of beets--no beets in your box! Okra, too slimy no matter how you cook it? No worries (we'll eat all the extra okra!). Love being adventurous and trying new vegetables and recipes? We've got you covered!! This personalization is something we highly value and part of why we are keeping our CSA to a limited number.
